A landmark on the Edinburgh skyline since 1901, Granton’s Gasholder sits in the heart of Granton Waterfront.
Now a restored space for everyone to enjoy, Gasholder 1 Park celebrates Granton’s rich industrial heritage while offering modern leisure facilities. Dedicated play zones, sport and open space, a relaxation area and spaces for public art will all be available to visitors to the Park over the coming years and give the Granton community a new greenspace to explore.
Gasholder 1 Park is also home to the “Granton Whale”, a sculptural piece of public art by local artist Svetlana Kondakova Muir.
